      My first day!

A travel blog entry by isabellemccabe on Apr 03, 2015

Yesterday was a long long day! Although it would have been longer and harder for everyone else as they had a crossing to contend with! After a lovely few days in devon visiting family I was finally on my way. After a while in the que to get on the ship, me and Beth who I had met previously on Facebook were told to help pack down all the shops as we are having a refit, it took us all day! We went ...

Let's hope they don't fight bedtime too much! I'll keep you posted though. :] Tschüß! -A. ...

... done by about 8:30 and then went to a bakery not too far away to get breakfast. Then the kids got to play at a really cool playground for a little while. I spent the rest of the day relaxing and catching up on a few things online while I watched the kids and Rüdiger went to the gym. They were very good while he was gone. Then we had salmon that we bought at the market for dinner. Sehr gut! Overall, pretty nice and relaxing Sunday. Tschüß! -A. ...

Prisoners at Neungamme made bricks, since Neungamme lies in marshland and the soil was perfect for bricks. Walther PPKs were also made there. The life expectancy was 9 months and about 50% of the 106,000 inmates died.90% were foreigners; of that 90%, 75% were Russian and Polish. They slept 3 to a ...
