Today was Easter and it was a really fun day!!! This morning we woke up very early and guess what? The Easter Bunny came to our house in Taupo! Chloe and I went to the spa (top ten in the world) It rained. Went to Huka Falls. It rained. Met Tom and Helen at the bach( New Zealandish for weekend cottage - short for batchelor pad). It rained. Sky diving cancelled cos IT RAINED. Cancelled 9 hour walk over world famous mountain pass cos IT RAINED.

... Hostel bei dem Unternehmen an, aber diese sagten, dass es über dem See schön wäre, also nichts wie los und fertig gemacht. Henry und Morgan (Julias Freunde) sind dann auch schon beim Frühstück gewesen, als um 10 Uhr die Limousine vorgefahren ist, um uns abzuholen. Zum Flugplatz von Taupo war es dann eine 10 minütige Fahrt in der Limousine, echt cool =)

... the water. It was very peaceful, there where not very many people walking round so it was nice. We walked around and in various parts there are viewing points and also different parts of the thermal. some areas looked like snow mounds, they had lots of areas of big holes where the heat had broken down rocks and created the hole, there was huge mud holes bubbling. We could really do with smell-a-vision, this place is stinky ...

... fortunate to find a beautiful campsite just outside of town next to the river which had the added bonus of being free. On a free campsite you do at least get a toilet but that's it in terms of facilities, but that’s not too much of a problem and in our camper van we have everything else that we need.
