... was discovered during WWII while they were digging for .....something!? Not too terrible exciting. We did have a chance to meet Stefan's mom at the museum- that was cute! Of course no English! Our last stop with our sack lunches was at a Russian Church - one of only two in Bulgaria. It was stunning! Then it was back on the bus for a four hour drive. Ringing the changes for breakfast - Jerry had the continental (all kinds of cheese and meat and a particularly odd looking sausage) and I had the French (bit of a shock when you're expecting a croissant and it's full of chocolate, but managed to struggle through more than I should).

... 13 / 14 century churches. Also lots of gift shops and leather shops with very reasonable prices - got my eye on a handbag, but don't tell Jerry!

Think we managed to see most of it and walk around the perimeter sussing out beaches for later before stopping for coffee above the harbour, seeing a lovely old car and making some new friends! (See photos)

... so we had some of that to share as an appetiser, along with a piece of salmon sashimi each from the sushi menu. For our mains, we shared a stuffed grilled courgette and green salad, and had something separate each as well. I had steak and potato wedges and Dave had salmon and trout with grilled vegetables.
