... life. Take responsibility for yourself. Appreciate every day.
I guess for me it was sometimes difficult to put my family first when my friends seemed to have moved into that number one spot. It's sometimes hard to value my own life when I have nothing else to compare it to. It's hard to take responsibility for myself when I have yet to learn what would happen if I didn't. It's hard to appreciate every day when I'm surrounded by luxuries and others who live the same ...
... knitted goods, amazing food, cheese, jellies and jams, cookies, chocolate, pottery, etc. It was a great place to buy Christmas gifts. We got Glühwein for the first time and ate gingerbread cookies. We took another short nap at the Hostel and watched CNN on the tv and watched the NYSE open in the US. We found an awesome restaurant to got to dinner, the ...
Hamburg, Germany plcouttsiep... walk from the S-bahn station. It was very nice and clean. We had 4 other roommates who were quiet. I had to do my best to keep Pam moving and awake so that she would go to sleep at a normal time and get on Germany time as fast as possible, but she was like a zombie! Unfortunately it was Sunday and not many stores are open. We went to the harbor first to see the ships and stuff. It was raining and basically ...
Hamburg, Germany plcouttsiep... everything that I have been doing these past few days. However, I am up to the task!
First of all, I loved rooming with Annie! We had a great time together and got along really well! Joe and Diana were a perfect host family and we already miss them!
And now I'm in Hamburg! Living with Kathrin Arnold, my 22-year old host sister :)
Next, the subway. Who knew that subway rides could be so entertaining? Especially in ...
... Kathrin. We had a great time and met up with Therese (Sweden) and her host sister. We went to a huge amusement park called "Dom", which is only open 3 times per year, and rode on this huge ride that spun and twirled and twisted Therese and I around for about 8 minutes.
How do I know it was 8 minutes?
I filmed the whole thing ...
... these places were later reconstructed to their former selves, but the former east were hell bent on keeping some of these places ******...or so I thought until we got to Wismar. Beautiful, reminded us of Prague. We were impressed with the beaches too, with REAL sandy beaches, not mud or pebbles as we assumed.
Today did a bit of shopping, developed 6 CD's worth of photos and videos so far. Tomorrow we say goodbye to Hamburg and head off down the autobahn to Berlin.
... apple juice, coffee, tea, milk - quite the spread! The speck was ****, but Stefan told me that it's not real speck - real speck is supposed to half fat and half meat. I wanted to puke after stuffing myself - I don't think I'll have room for lunch today! Unless my stomach loses containment and I puke ... Off to find a book store - without any Hamburg info, I needed to find a travel guide. But not to purchase (I'm Chinese and therefore cheap ...
Hamburg, Germany pwongworld cup night, 2006 this was probably one of the best nights of my life and one of the most unforgetable experiences ever. we decided to go to a bar called SWEINSKIE to watch the game- a lot of my friends from hamburg came out which was really sweet of them. even my childhood friend hanna who doesnt know the others came out and her friends EZ and lena came. we got to the bar a bit early so we ate some SCHNITZEL (as if there was any doubt about that one) and got us some ...
Hamburg, Germany stephincozumel... being out we saw the smallest car I had ever seen. I could have sworn it was just a fancy golf cart. Later we learned it was just a Smart Car, but before they made it to America years later I was amazed by it. It was a rainy day so we didn't spend too much time out side but instead learned a lot about German television, which can be summed up as confusing. Next day we woke up and headed to the station to catch the train to Copenhagen.
... viel spass mit meinem nachmieter habe, wens interessiert hier ist ein irc log von meinem lieblings heul- und problembewaeltigungschan #rostock im ircnet nachmieterstress 31.
