    ... about the culture. Back at the house Nicolettta put us to work. We began by picking the fresh herbs from the terrace. We all pitched in doing different jobs to prepare our lunch. We made an appetizer called Panelle. It was made with just chick pea flour, water, salt, and parsley. They were cut very thin with cookie cutter shapes and fried in hot oil. Very tasty!     ... a peninsula. We walked around the streets in town and then found a restaurant which Tom wanted to go to. It was recommended to us by Sylvestro, who did our cooking class last year in Lecce.     We left Agrigento at 8.30am this morning heading to Palermo. We arrived at the Grand Hotel Piazza Borsa about 11.00am. It is a beautiful hotel and the ensuite is huge.
