    We had been recommended a place for breakfast by a Canadian guy who was having a massage at the same time as us last night, so we off through the alleys and side streets following his directions but ended up going the wrong way. It was warm and calm so it was no hardship and we ended up having a huge breakfast at a bar tucked away behind the beach road. The best English breakfast so far on the trip. Proper bacon ...

    Here in
    HuaHin is a great pier with seafood restaurants all along it. Hhhhhmmmmm prawns,
    crab and lobster at 1/15th of the price in Oz. It is now my
    staple. (mind you, it is low season here
    in Thailand so prices do come down
    considerable).



    Feeling
    good about everything but missing my Sumatran Tiger very very much.

    ... main strip of Poon Suk road on our first night, just checking out the restaurants and bars. We had a really good meal in Sara Jane's, was great food and cheap too - came to around 800 baht for 3 courses and 2 drinks each.



    In general, Hua Hin does have a really good vibe to it. It feels quite chilled and relaxed, it was nice to come here after the craziness and stress of Bangkok and we were looking forward to our next 8 days ...

    ... each and two tables - ours for the day - all for less than 2 pounds. We've hardly applied our sun cream when she's back with two plates of complimentary fruit! We later buy a mango from a beach fruit seller who also gives us free fruit - 5 bananas and a satsuma - it's good here!
    Even after lunch the restaurant gives us free bananas, we're well up on our 5 a day today. ...
