    I'm sat in the theatre, peering cautiously through a fierce haze of hot sparks currently pattering down from the ceiling and, by pattering, I more mean flying uncontrollably in all directions.     Yep, as suspected it was a sleep in for Lyndon this morning (11:00am!!!) while I on the other hand was fresh as a daisy. So although we had planned to go into town to do some more sightseeing we spent pretty much all day hanging around the house. Poor Annette will be glad to see the back of us tomorrow.

    ... of carpet bombing. The steeple at this memorial has been under reconstruction for some time and the flames soars over 500m high and reached 1000 degrees C. This is the temperature that diamonds catch fire!! The first bomb was dropped in June 1943 and the last of the fires were extinguished in November of the same year!

    During a Korean travel show on Hamburg I remember seeing a rather unusual underwater tunnel. Aside from allowing pedestrians and bikes there was also a single lane for cars tightly packed in. I wanted to find this tunnel even though its not really a tourist destination.
