... city, which is wedged in a valley and divided by the Lahn River. There are so many different rivers here in Germany, it's no wonder that they use only a quarter of the available freshwater. The plan was to do a bit of a tour around the town on the way home, but considering we'd already done so much walking it didn't really happen. So we filled up the car (1.25 Euros/Litre) and we were home just after 6pm.

We've been having so much of a good time enjoying being back in Germany that it is hard to find time to write any blogs. I'll at least post some photos of some of the fun we've been having!!

The weather wasnt bad at all and it allowed for a very nice hike through the forest and plains. Having hiked Volcanoes in Nicaragua in the past, this for me wasnt challenging at all. It was a very nice 3-hour hike with very beautiful sceneries and landscapes.

... had moved into my own apartment/flat/dorm whatever you want to call it, in the immediate vicinity of the University. I loved that my commute was a 2-minute walk to the main area of the University. This for me is priceless. My nice single room is equipped with its own kitchen and bathroom - another thing which is priceless. I was indeed very happy with the apartment as well as its strategic positioning. ...

      Dog training and horse riding

A travel blog entry by minecrafter on Sep 28, 2014

I got up this morning and after breakfast I went with Mario to his dog training. I found it a bit boring at first because I was just watching. About half way through Mario got dressed up with special clothes and had a leather beam and a special bite proof sleeve that went from his finger tips to his shoulder and that he could hold in his arm He brought out a dog on a lead which was then attached to a long lead ...
