... I've finally arrived in the Buddhist ex-kingdom of Leh in the arid mountainous regoin of Ladakh.
At 3500m (11,400 feet) above sea level I need to acclimatise for a day or so before seeking out a trek up to higher altitudes.
I've just under two weeks left in India and having twice (first in Darjeeling, and then in Dharamsala) been denied the prospect of a high altitude, mountainous trek into the Himalayas. I'm determined to finally experience them!

Po dezevni noci se zbudimo v soncno jutro. Urosa zjutraj zgrabi slabost. Obisce nas lastnik Ali Baba in nam pove, da smo se zastrupl z hrano, ki smo jo jedli na trznici (patatasi), ker uporabljajo staro olje, ki je blo crne barve. Mi smo pac misl, da je to take vrste olje :)
