... scenery all the same and quite different to Dartmoor NP as it is not rocky. At Lynton we parked the car and walked. (Pay and Display is everywhere here. Car owners must pay a fortune in parking and you need a constant supply of £1 coins.) Walked along the edge of the cliff that overlooks Lynmouth at the foot of the hill and passed the little railway that goes down the hill. Houses and hotels are perched on the edge of the very steep hillside but we thought they ...

Saturday 6th September Yet another fine day! Got our selves sorted after a very late arrival at our accommodation at 12.45am and set off for the local town of Cullompton for some food supplies. Back home, then off to Exeter for a bit of a look around. Drove to the outskirts and used the Park and Ride system into town. So easy and appropriate for us. Town was very busy with the inner area filled with shoppers, such a nice day to be out. Wandered down to the quayside area beside the ...

... Just cannot wait to get to Spain and get a permanent home sorted. We have a temporary base for a week or two but ideally want to get a tenancy signed within the next week or two! Some people have screwed their faces up when we've said were going with nowhere to live but apparently this is the way to do it! We will ...
