I traveled to Ningbo on Monday evening after the English Subject Panel had finished.

I met Will at breakfast in the Citic Hotel on Tuesday morning and we went out to Ningbo Foreign Language School, which is one of my centres. The school is built in an amazing location in the south-east of Ningbo, surrounded by mountains and with a beautiful lake on site.

The staff here are all lovely. I had only been to this centre once before with Liz and Mary ...

I asked the host daughter if she wanted to go to the mall with me and she said no. I asked the eight year old boy if he wanted to play soccer with me outside and he said no. I got ...

... They discard the first batch, then wash the teacups twice, and then finally drink it. The tea that she gave us cost 5,000 yuan. 625 Euro, 800 dollars. These people are rich like nobody I’ve ever met before. She told me how she spent 11,000 yuan (about 3-4,ooo dollars) on her birthday dinner the night before. Yet she pays her hard working nanny 2,000 yuan a month. After eating dumplings and drinking tea, Alex and I headed out to Lao Wai Tan. Lao Wai Tan is the ...
