Not the weekend just gone, but the weekend before, my host family took me away. There was some slight misunderstanding on my part, I thought we were going to visit some friends of Ms Liang's in Suzhou, I understood that they were from Beijing and were having a short holiday in Suzhou.

After a bit, 2 of the white men came to bang the gong, to officially open the day. I filmed this bit, and when I've converted the video file I will upload it (and lots of other bits I've filmed!). Then a Chinese woman came on stage and started singing, and it was at this point "Ok everyone! Let's go now!" and off we shuffled.
