... A few brides getting their photos taken in the park and young ladies dressed in Kimino strolling the gardens and taking photos of each other, and everyone else taking photos of them. Traditional tea houses are situated on the lake. We had tea (o..cha) and soba noodles again! Took a ridiculous amount of photos.

Took the loop bus back across the city and hopped off at the Higashi district again, as we had ...

... from the 21st century ;) Willem had the brilliant idea to rent some bikes to quickly get from A to B. A kind of Velib (like in Paris) with stations were you can drop the bike and get another one later on. As long as you drop your bike within 30 min,it will only cost you 200 yen (approx 1,50 euro) for a full day: really cheap. And we had so much fun. Willem looked like he was riding on a kiddy bike. We were ...

... walk. 1st to the market where we tasted some local food (see pictures). We also bought something that looked that huge grape but actually tasted like prunes. Delicious ;) Then we went to Kanazawa Castle, a big white building in a beautiful park. We saw some gardeners trimming the trees with so much care and attention. It was like bonsai work but for normal sized trees. Crazy Japanese people :) we love them for that :) In the castle ...
