... a beautiful trip and a lot of fun. Justin and I cannot be in the same canoe together, so I went with dad and Justin went with Trestan.

Indy, however, did not like being in a canoe away from either of us, so he had a fit for part of the trip. He eventually got over it and just hung out in the front of my canoe.

Tomorrow we are leaving Oakdale and going a short distance down the road to Madison. We want to see Milwaukee but don't necessarily want to stay in such a big city. We have had fun here in Oakdale. We drove around and looked at the cranberry bogs where they grow cranberries and flood the bogs to harvest. The plants are still very small so not much to see in that regard. Yesterday we went to the movie to see Monster U.

... because since it gets dark much later here the fireworks don't start until 10:00. Way past my bed time, hehe.

By the way, the mosquitoes here are horrible. We had some in Minneapolis but nothing like this. They bite all day. We have bought out Walmart of all the mosquito repellent they offer.
