    Hopefully the travel jitters are behind us. We've been laughing at each other....Maureen with a headache and stiff shoulder, Ron waking up once or twice a night, taking an hour or so each time to go back to sleep.

    It's sure nice to have an afternoon flight saving ...

    ... breaking slightly under even on our previous times at the Casinos. It was getting late so we decided to quit, while we were ahead and go to bed. This was a good end to our gambling experience on board of the Emerald Princess. So we said Goodnight to Brenda and Natasha and retired to our cabin. For on the morrow we would be arising early to Disembark from the Emerald Princess and this week of fun and adventure.

    ... were only 20 minutes from Monterey Bay and Carmel, so we figured we would go there and find some nice place to have lunch. We picked Old Fisherman's' Wharf as a destination on the GPS. It worked like a charm because it led us through the streets of Monterey, down to the water where we were met by the pier and a sign saying, "Deliveries Only".     ... a two mile, one lane road down to the coolest beach ever. There were these huge rock formations out in the water and one had a hole through the middle of it. I'm so glad I have a good camera and lens because my phone photos don't do it nearly enough justice. Unfortunately for you people, you'll have to wait until the trip is over to see the good pictures :) For now you just get phone photos!
