Alarm awake at 5.45 am. We're on our own now. No one to carry/ drag bags. Ha!!! After shower went to reception to collect our breakfast as restaurant isn't open on Sunday's till 7 am. Collected taxi after checkout at 7am right outside hotel. Must admit a very handy hotel even for a short time. Taxi made a quick ride around to Victoria coach station ( roads fairly quiet as Sunday) - probably no excuse as roads always seem busy at any time in London for what we're used to. Uneventful ...

Just an observation here there are dogs welcome in pubs, on buses and trains and also in restaurants and tonight on a TV political show Molly the dog is on and has her own basket on the ...

... and gorgeous shops and buildings around every corner. You could lose yourself for hours in these quaint little villages. The road into Polperro is lined with cottages mostly holiday rentals. They all have beautiful gardens. Everything is very green here. These fishing villages also have the biggest, fattest and noisiest seagulls who do some low flying around your ears ...

Rain shower early morning clearing to a sunny day 17c. Walked to the shops in St Mary-church and looked around. Then took the Cliff Railway to the bottom and watched the kids playing on the beach in the orange sand. Then back to the top. Visited Babbacome model village. Just fantastic, we spent a few hours here looking at this great ...
