What an adventure we are having, oh my word!!! We left our beautiful Sirince with giving lots of hugs and kisses to Ari and his lovely wife as well as the chef, Ari's brother and father (Mama was probably on the farm picking cherries), headed down the mountain to Selcuk for our 3 hour train trip to Denizli and from there by bus to Pamukkale. The road took us through farmlands filled with pomegranite trees, fig trees, apricot trees, lucerne fields, olive trees ...

... happening place, lots of cafes and bars etc. We got time to relax before dinner for a couple of hours, I packed my bag, then met at the hotel for our last dinner together. There were 5 people that were leaving the tour the next day, and 5 new people coming to join the Topdeck tour. The boat has 7 cabins but they were used mostly just to store our luggage, go to the bathroom and change our clothes since we all slept on the cushions on deck each night.

All in all it was a relaxing four days but I think next time I would opt for the 12 island day cruise out of Fethiye ...

... a really nice Aussie couple (Bryce and Sirin), a Gerogian couple and a German budgie smuggler (loves Speedos) and his Italian girlfriend....so a big mix of cultures....unless you consider Kiwi's to be uncultured and then a slightly less mix of cultures.

We have 4 days cruising up the coast from Demre to Fethiye with a lot of swimming and lying on the deck. Luckily the beers are priced at a range that makes ...

... The first night here we all went into town as there was an Oasis overlanding truck camping next to us. They were doing the Tunis to Istanbul trip.....just 58 days of travelling! We had many laughs and a few hideous shots which resulted in dehydration and power chucking for Jules the next day! We're drinking about 4 litres of water each a day and we are starting to have a few bugs go around. Jules definitely blames the bugs on ...
