    ... earphones in. The next day was much of the same but we stopped in a place called Caš. A very quiet picturesque town on the seaside. Chels and I had finished our books so bought new ones on our kindles. Whilst doing that, we cut into our exploring time which was a bad move. The town was so beautiful.     ... to see, although not quite as blue as I was expecting, however the tiles and craftsmanship was pretty amazing. I then went across the road to the Hagia Sophia, which has been a Christian basilica, followed by mosque and now currently a museum. The building itself is architecturally beautiful inside and out.

    I was very sad to be leaving Turkey as I had such an amazing time there and I will definitely be back to see more of the beautiful country.

    ... in Thailand. Kate and I were on cook group duty and Karen the tour leader left me in charge of cooking a Moroccan style vegetable stew for the group - no pressure! It took hours to prepare and was accidentally too spicy so I think the group will be thankful it will be another 2 weeks until we do it again! We also had our first expedition birthday, Dutch Bob, not Cockney Bob and we celebrated with a slice of chocolate ...
