... and headed out the backside of the mall to discover a jazz festival! Though the singer we heard was pretty good, the set in itself was a little bland and we lost interest.
Though we had hoped to go the zoo, we missed the last bus out there, so we headed back to the hotel in defeat. After a few hours recharching and napping, we decided to strike out and the beer festival we had heard so much about. We found it ...
... We found it funny at first, but it quickly became awkward and then rude and then just plain obnoxious. We wandered further down the park.
And stumbled upon the coolest playground equipment in the history of the human race. First we found a super slick black marble slide, and next we found a huge hill of concrete made for running up and sliding down. Several small children found us quite ...

Decided since there's so many malls, to do some souveneir shopping, specifically sweets, which apparently Sapporo ...

You're supplied with your very own bid given that the barbecue process tends to splatter fat. It was a great meal -- we haven't been that stuffed and bloated in a long time. Sapporo, Japan schwinkle... and soaps to buy. She's sweet! This Onsen was big and fancy. There were about 30 spots to bath (Still on a bucket... the bucket thing always makes me giggle. And a multitude of choices for soaking baths. We opted for the outdoor one, that was set between 41 and 42 Celcius...For all you non-Canadians that's about 105-107 Fahrenheit! If that got to be too much, there was a better option: A row of benched/arm chairs where the water flowed down the ...
