A travel blog entry by lilseppey on Jul 10, 2014

Today we went to Matusiro ES. It shares some of its space with the Samurai house that I went to on July 1. This school was very organized and excited for our visit.

The school was rebuilt 2 years ago. The city spent lots of money on it we were told. You could tell by the beautiful wood building material. It also had existed as a school for I think they said 150 years. What a history.

This being said, most of the tomatoes that are produced by our hosts were used in the production of tomato juice only and I imagine the visual qualities of these tomatoes are not as relevant to the final product. Tomato juice is tasty and has its place, but with a few acres ...

... into the the modern day.

The contents of the printings preserved at the museum ranged from natural landscapes (both real and imagined) to famous literary and historical figures. The famous Bodhidarma, a Buddhist monk attributed with bringing Sanskrit to China, was featured in a few as were the European settlers who began to arrive in Japan after the commencement of Euro-Japanese trade routes. Women, specifically geishas and prostitutes, also ...
