... interview us. He was doing a report for school. Children learn English in school here. Sinan introduced himself and spoke a few words in English but asked Sue the questions in Turkish. Over the three days lots of friends and relatives dropped in to look at us. Sometimes they talked to Sue in Turkish but most did not.
The Karacan's were all delightful and so good to us, it was a wonderful three days.

Today for lunch they were making börek, a delightful light pastry with filling. The filling today was greens, onions and feta cheese. They made them in the courtyard. Janet volunteered to help.
