Booked some months in advance and got a 23Stg rate. Rooms are new only 7 months old (May 2013) has free parking a great buffet breakfast and all the usual conveniences. Close by is a small general store, the waterfront is across the road with loads of eating places.

Today's photo is of a cuddly Big Ben toy we were given by Hanna and Adam to remind us of home whilst we are ...

... found another old church with a bell cage. Never seen one of those before so Graham stopped the car and we had a good look around. The bell cage was started in 1525 , ceased in 1530 and was erected as a temporary measurein 1531. The bells are rung by pure force of hand applied directly to the bell. The 5 bells weigh approx 4,400 kg. . Imagine the noise when they ring and the poor bell ringer, bet he went deaf real ...

First Real Work Stress of New Job

... girl, is just incredibly annoying! She is loud and doesn't really seem to want to integrate with the wider group - she just goes to work, goes to dance class, and (generally) stays in her room but I can't help but feel that her presence here is really, potentially ruining a good house-share. If she could just tone it down a tad, I'm sure she would be fine but, at the moment, she is just too much and it is clearly not nerves as she has been here over 2 weeks now... ...
