Our first full day driving around in England - and it was raining! It was a bit unnerving at times. We got lost regularly, but there are many ways to get where you want to go, so we were never too far off course. We drove through the Cotswolds (Chipping Campden, Stow-on-the-Wold, Snowshill, Stanway, the Slaughters, ...

Again we asked for advice ,chose the wrong bloke, poor old bugger could hardly speak a word of English but he was determined to put us on the right track and spent the next half hour explaining we'd gone the wrong way, this was the thames. All this at three in the arvo we had two wonderful days ...

Our whole experience with Emirates was really good this time. I appreciate that they have gotten much better at their business than there were years ago and I'm glad I tried flying them again.

... br> My friend Poh Tee likes to cook! We have eaten roast duck, with root vegetables cooked in goose fat, baby carrots and beans, stir fried in garlic! Followed by Belgian chocolate cake and Duchy of Cornwall Stilton, with a Chilean Malbec! The night before it was steamed trout with garlic, ginger, chilli and a soy sauce/chinese wine sauce, with beef and black bean sauce and chicken and vegetable stir fry. I hope I survive long enough to start the bike ...
