... and had a Thai massage at Funky Fish, virtually on the beach. Thai massage is a bit like going to see a chiropractor! Two ladies sitting at the bar had a great time watching our grimaces for an hour. The massage ladies clearly knew what they were doing though as they squeezed, pushed and pulled us about individually, focusing on the areas we each needed sorting. ... best restaurant on the island The Red Snapper. It is set amongst the trees giving it a jungle feel. Tables are spread out all around the grounds all with their own little displays - picture frames of different sizes as one example. Caleb smartly chose the special of the day a Gnocchi dish while Christine and I shared a prawn dish and a Red Snapper dish. ... they are huge, probably 2 or 3 times the size of the ones we get at home. We let it off and everyone cheered. Pretty soon, multiple people we getting them and letting them go. The wind was just right and blew the lanterns out over the ocean. Over the evening, we probably saw 500 lanterns float off into the horizon from all along the beach. Then the fireworks started! All we can say is wow! All along ...

... word?! Haha) and I'm sure we looked about as graceful and delicate as elephants on ice skates, haha... We had to clamber out of our little boat, across another, and then up onto the ferry where we found ourselves a spot and sat on the floor outside, with legs dangled off the side in the manner of a young child sat on a wall. It made me wonder at what age we stop swinging our legs whilst sat on things? It's underrated and should be done more as adults I think, haha :-) ...

... it (even wearing our mask and snorkel while on the boat at one point so we could see/breathe) and the driver made an open-water engine repair (belt replacement). Even though it was not what we had expected and we didn't get to do one or two things due to weather (like try to recreate the famous picture near Phi Phi taken from
the beach from the movie "The Beach"), I still felt it was still worth it.

That night, we decided to see what all the ruckus ...
