... fun dive' leaving the following day. Amelia and Jo, hesitantly, booked on to a 'discovery dive' for Thursday. As I'm sure most of you know - Amelia has had a huge phobia of fish, since the age of 10. So signing up to do a scuba dive in the fish abundant seas around Thailand was a massive deal! Feeling extremely excited after booking to do some fun dives (my first after acquiring my license in Cambodia), we went scootering off down the west coast of the island, taking in the beautiful ...

... France who lives in Ireland and we started talking and decided to share my room in Ko Lanta. We had a great time together - a bit short, because Caroline was only staying for 3 nights. We went diving together in Hin Daeng and Hin Muang and just enjoyed the beach and laughed the whole time. We will try to travel together again.

After Caroline left, I felt a tiny bit lonely but not for long, as I met a lot of other new people, like Ellen from Norway and ...

... the rain as soon as we got off of the boat as we knew it was about a 15 minute walk to our hotel on the further right side of the island where I'd previously stayed with Craig and his friends. I didn't rate the hotel but it was the cheapest we could find as Phi Phi is quite expensive. Once the rain had stopped I led the girls to our stack of bungalows in the flooded streets. I was really hoping the weather would've improved as I only saw the sun once when I was here last and that's when ...
