The mother temple is a huge temple and one of 20.000 temples in Bali. Balinese people can attend 200 temple celebrations a year ! Balinese people have main temples, regional temples, village temples and house temples and they do 20 offerings a day. They do offerings for the gods, ghosts and demons to keep them happy. Balinese people are mainly Hindus and very religious.

We love it here! The place we stayed at last night was a bit naff so we've checked in to Yamara Cottage which is lovely and a little bit cheaper.
