... remains of our ancestors, I actually loved it so much I went back for a second look. Checking out the anatomical design, shapes and sizes of the bone whilst also appreciating a 700,000 year old human was in front of you was fantastically awesome. I have always had an interest in evolution since I studied it at school as part of my HSC Biology along with my anatomy studies at Uni so to visit this museum was very exciting and inspiring (in fact, ...

... Castrojeriz which we blitzed in 20 mins and didn't even feel it! Sheesh! Killed the last 10km in today in 1 1/2 hours! In the old town which I love - so blessed to stay in places built in ancient history, long before Australia was colonised!

We passed through a couple of very little towns before hitting the Meseta. We knew straight away that we had hit it, as it became instantly hot and dry, with what looked like nothing in the distance. About an hour into the Meseta, we stumbled across a shaded picnic area with a ...

... we didn't ask for help at all, but we got so exhausted at one point that we actually went into a shopping centre, just for the air conditioning. Unlike most shopping centres, this one didn't appear to have seats (or tired HABs - husbands and boyfriend) for weary shoppers, so we ended up going to Burger King just to sit down. And then we ended up getting a meal too. DON'T TELL ANYONE!!! It was delicious. And they had wifi to orient us too. The only ...
