... Venetian Republic (1797) up to the founding of the Republic of Italy (1948). The section about Mussolini and the fascist war effort was quite interesting. As far as I could tell, I was the only the person in the museum - at least, I was the only person waiting when it opened at 3:30, and I never saw another soul in the entire time I was in there, except for the girl who sold me my ticket. When the exhibit ended, there were no signs for the exit, ...

... with a number of decisions. Here they are. Which way did you think we went on these? 1 Famous sights (a) Do we hang out on the impossibly packed Piazza San Marco and wait 3 hours in a 500 metre queue to get into Basilica di San Marco? Upon arrival at Venice airport, only option was a private speedboat to Venice at high tide. It was a limo boat ride with a wake that rocked nearby boats. It's 1:00a now and I'm too tired to write more, but will later. Using the tablet, my 110 WPM does me know good when I'm restricted to two fingers . Hope all is well stateside and that Jack & Ponch don't miss me too much.

      P.S. to Paris ...

      VENICE -

After a short 3 hour train ride, we arrived in Venice. The first day we got there, we immediately took a boat to the apartment which caught me by surprise because I had forgotten that Venice ...
