... full. So I was thinking .....would it be ok to leave the kids in various stops around Europe so we can fill up the bus with goodies? For example tomorrow we are going to Modena home of balsamic vinegar and Parmesan. I was thinking I could give Max the air fare back home and pick up a few wheels of Parmesan, a case of vintage vinegar and a whole Parma ham. It would all fit in just fine once Max was gone. Anyone want to collect him from Luton for ...

Everyone I have spoken with said to me, enjoy Venice but you will get lost. However I don’t believe this to be entirely true. You see, its difficult to get lost when you don’t have anywhere that you need to be. All plans come down to this. The Speech I had in my head from the night before has been completely forgotten so ...

Much refreshed from our early night, we headed out after breakfast to find the Rialto Bridge, before the crowds began to take over! It is much easier to find our way around in Venice, the streets are straight and don't change name half way along! We wanted to be back at our hotel by 11 o'clock so we could check out and store our bags until we were ready to head to the cruise ship. ( we were able to check in at ship from 1pm onwards). We caught a different ...

... times sake!! Some bread at the local pasticceria for breakfast and of course a gelato each and a sit down at home. Not many people can say they've eaten Chinese in Venice! We were not very hungry tonight after our huge lunchtime meal so we decided to pop downstairs and try the Chinese restaurant at the end of our lane. A wonton soup each and a very nice fried rice shared hit the spot. I think we'll sleep well tonight........mmmmmm........I can hear that torrone calling my ...
