        ... to this other glass factory that you had to pay 3€ to get in but my sister and I didn't cost a penny. So once we got in we went to sit down and the master guy person was doing this surprise blowing thing where he was blowing some glass and it went BOOM BOOM which was so scary.         ... my mum and dad bought for me when they were hear 20 years ago; when my mum celebrated her 60th birthday with a gondola ride.         ... night here. By my reckoning we were still about 3 streets away.

        To celebrate this feat Jean had a Banana Split and I had a beer.

        We then visited the Basilica of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari which is just around the corner from home. It was overwhelming in it's size, but not garish in any way. Photos were banned, so I only took 5.

        ... There was a pool, bar and our tents weren't that uncomfortable! We chilled out that night, and participated in some people watching outside the Venetian Mask party at the campsite. It was quite hilarious watching the young people (no way were they 18) making fools of themselves drunk.
