... was deterred, obviously; he opted for (and I am not making this up) a blueberry, licorice, and caramel cake. If I hadn't been nauseated previously, I certainly was now. A twinkly-lit walk down the Stroget to our hostel, with buskers playing Christmas carols in the shop doorways, concluded what I can only describe as The Best ******n Thanksgiving EVER. Sadly, it also concludes our Danish adventure...we fly home tomorrow. Happy Thanksgiving ...

Next door to the museum is the Christianborg Slotkirke, a neo-classical church used for special events of the monarchy. ... Church in all of Denmark built by princess Alexandra who married the prince of whales and eventually the king of England, Edward the VII. We wrapped up the afternoon with the "best ice cream and waffles" in Denmark and a visit to the amber museum because Denmark is the number one producer of amber in the world. After a quick nap we are heading to tivali gardens, which is the oldest amusement park in the world and to listens to live music! Should be a good night! Next stop ...
