    We docked at Gran Canaria at around 07:00 local time. Clearance was granted at around 08:00, so passengers and crew were able to go ashore shortly afterwards.     ... over the big climb and Martin shuttled to the top. He was so excited to get to take the downhill at full speed without me. He cycled on to lunch at 33.5 miles with elevation gains of 3815 ft and max speeds of 45 mph. Lunch was on the water in Playa de Mogan where we watched scuba, swimming and beach goers.
