... the train station. Train 1 took us from Venice to Venora about 1hr. Train 2 took us from Venora (Italy) to Innsbruck (Austria) about 2 1/2 hrs. Arrived at beautiful hotel and Cameron is watching kids cartoons in German. It doesn't appear to matter that he can't understand what they are saying. Today is our last day in Austria. We have had a quiet day in Innsbruck with a tour this morning of the old city, followed by a trip up the cable car to the top of the mountains from the middle of the city. It's not as bad as you imagine, but you certainly had to watch where you were stepping to avoid slipping, as if you slipped, it would be a long way down, and you would not be in one piece. We were on a ridge line and we could see 2 valleys on each side of us. There were plenty of others there hiking and exploring the area. A quick 5 minute journey in the cable car and long drive back to the unit in Munich rounded off our ...
