... We were rewarded with another wonderful German traditional meal full of meats with an unusual side of dumplings shaped like a pasta twirls. Back to the ship for lunch, Gary off for a walk me a nap and blog ...

Bamberg is a very pretty city however it is famous now as the beer region of Germany. We had ...

... food and wine festival. Gather it had been going for a few days, due to finish on Sunday. The whole of the main platz was swamped in market umbrellas, tents, pergolas, all serving wine, varieties of wurst ( specialty snags) and kartoffelsalat. All ages, all out participating.

Thought about the sightseeing ahead and went with wurst, and katoffelsalat, accompanied by a crisp weiss wine, of course.
