We decided to do the medieval tour of Nuremberg. We started at the Imperial Castle and walked down through to the town square. Along the way we sampled Gingerbread (fun fact: Gingerbread does not contain ginger) which was delicious, we also sampled German sausage (does not contain German's) and another beer sampling (at 10am). Back to the ship for lunch, Gary off for a walk me a nap and blog ...

Bamberg is small city, about the same population as Rocky, the only difference is it was established in 1007. So today it was Ruby holding us up as she was not happy to be going on a bike ride and she wanted to wear a dress which hangs over the wheels rather than the shorts we tried to get her to wear so there ...

... first in France we really avoided driving on motorways but lately it seems to be that just about every drive is on them. Its stating the obvious to say that they are good because you get to where you want to fast but you do miss a lot along the way. The girls tiredness made them a bit grumpy and irritable, especially Lily and Ruby who were constantly bickering along the way. We eventually got angry with this and told them that since they couldn't be nice to each other ...
