In the morning we bought pain au chocolate from the baker and hit the road. France is closed on a Sunday, I checked but it doesn't say that in the map book. We waited at McDonalds until 10:00 to buy coffee, only to discover that it doesn’t open at 10:00. A small cafe adjoined to an in-town supermarket came to the rescue, providing the much needed caffeine and additional food supplies for the next few days.
