    ... his imagination, and I wish I had videos it! I am sure no-one has ever challenged him in his whole life so it was really interesting to see his reaction. Everyone around us cheered.

    ... having a blast. The scoring was just like US bowling and automatically showed up on the screen above the lane. I guess the French do like to bowl!

    We went to a little bar further up the road to watch the soccer game and have some wine. We're becoming soccer fans. Neither of us had ever watched soccer before, but we're really enjoying it. We're looking forward to the next USA game.

    Luckily the gate check in opened quite early and we were able to get rid of our big bags. Most people seemed to have pre-booked seats as we couldn't get 2 seats together - hopefully someone will swap with one of us! After finding our way to the gate we found a window spot which gave us a good view of the inbound flight and watched the bags being loaded with growing excitement.     Well, this morning we said goodbye to Bonnie Scotland, which was a bit sad! We caught a taxi into Aviemore Train Station at 7am then caught the train to Edinburgh. Was great to have the beautiful scenery rolling by again and we saw some deer which was pretty cool! We got an airlink bus from the city to the airport to fly to Paris.     Yes all, we're alive!
    Sorry to take so long to post the next entry. The internet access at the Paris Hotel was a little iffy and I really wasn't up to blogging after my lovely "back pack stolen" episode.
    I've been in contact with my Travel Insurance provider (and although the phone number was in Brisbane and "reverse charge" - it came through as a charged call at the hotel - €29 later!) they emailed me a four page (!) form to complete - which also had ...
