        ... s new best friend by saying that the fondue was delicious and there was clearly something wrong with the other couple. The comment also earned him amicable-but-************* the back for the rest of the evening. Later on a group of Italians came in and our waiter spoke to them in fluent Italian.         ... fountains aren't working because of the cold. We were lucky it was a sunny day, so we had a bit of a walk around the gardens. We managed to run into one of the couples who had been on the tour with us, as well. After returning to our hotel, mum wanted to have a bit of a rest, so I went for a walk to Galleries Lafayette, which is the large shopping centre in Paris.
