Seemed like a long time since I first bought this ticket - to now actually setting out - on this first bit ( into Toronto for a few days). So I'll pull the master switch / hydro off ... Shutter down....gate locked at laneway. Back in May ...God willing and the creek don't ...

....starting this blog app use now and hopefully be wrinkle-free when the real "trip" ( every sense of this word!!!) starts. Still calm but with just over 2 weeks to go before I leave cabin - this could change given there's still lots to do. ....Yikes!! ...but happy here with wood stove cozy heat despite the 2' weather outside this Thursday evening. ...

Joanne and I are off to see Melanie In Vancouver next week. Normally a family visit would not warrant a blog but our plan is to visit Vancouver Island and tour.
This SHOULD be a relatively safe trip for the Baileys unless our Prime Minister keeps ticking off ...

It tells the the history of Quinte West but also has photographs includes photographs of regular people and famous people. The significance of the movie reel and film strip that flows from it harkens back to Trenton's movie years when it was known as Hollywood North, just as BC lays claim to such a title in western Canada.
