... talent festival in Palomares and the people in all of these villages were very friendly! We ate at Dannys pizza in Palomares square and it was absolutely delicious. Actually everywhere we ate along the coast the food was terrific. Returned to San Jose. Next day drove around to the town of Cabo de Gata, saw the salt-pans, went up the the "Cape", saw the incredible beach of Cabo de Gata, had great lunch there, then went around to the beach at Monsul. Eventually decided I HAD to leave!! 

... The terrain became more and more barren. This is the area where all the "spaghetti westerns" (Good Bad &amp; Ugly, etc) were filmed in the 60's and 70's. Allegedly because it looks just like Arizona, but I wouldn't know because I've never been there. ... 2009 ESPAGNE vers GRANADA on les fait fuir et on se couche...lendemain matin, grand soleil, on voit un pecheur arrivee de son bateau et decharger sa cargaison directemet sur la plage, du coup, on prend 1kilo de seiche a 8euros et les lave dans la mer. On se baigne apres mangerm un peu fraiche mais trop benefique... on se decide enfin a reprendre la route pour granada...

... was annoying Gaf somewhat!) We found the tourist info, which was only 10 mins from our hotel, it was actually only 5 mins but it was too hot to walk too quickly and my bags were heavy. After we checked in we had a little siesta as it was that time of day. I went out to get some water (and a sneaky icecream, sorry Gaf!) then got Gaf up to go our for dinner. Ended up in Pizza Hut as it was the only place open. Went back to plan more of the trip.

... THat night, for dinner, she made me mushroom alfredo pasta....with champinon!!! Champinon is small bits of pork. I ate it begrudgingly and was sure to set aside the meat so she could see that I would not eat it. After dinner, I told her that was meat and she was like, "It's not meat, it's Champinon!"
