"Slightly less than a warm bath", was one of our international traveller's assessment (guess who !!), " all I need is a cake of soap and some shampoo", was another well known traveller's assessment, with a final statement from the third of the aquatic contingent noting " the sand is the same as we have in Australia". This latter statement when considered, is a most profound statement indeed.

... the biggest of all nightmares. The pain started to take my breath away. I said to Gent I had to go, I had to go and lie down. I quickly went into my translator on my phone and wrote "kidney stone" and translated it to Hindi. I saved it so I could show it to someone if the worst were to happen. We woke up to 36 degrees yet again. Looking at the weather forecast on the netbook it looked like it will stay this way for quite some time. Having established that we would be staying in Goa specifically Calangute in the north, we decided that we should explore and stock up with supplies.
