... We packed our bags, so we didn't have to do that tonight or tomorrow morning. Well they are rather full now! :p Time for the beach now. On our way out to the car we ran in to brother Lenny and asked him to join us, and so he did! Both of us still had to buy our last presents for our family members so after arriving at the beach we had a wander around the shops first. There is a shop right next to the restaurant where Uncle Maurice always ...

... now! The beach was really long and lined with beach bars and shops selling clothing and souvenirs. I had my nicest curry so far that evening a butter chicken curry at the Oasis restaurant. This being lasagne and chips, braisen steak and chocolate pudding! God knows where he puts it all! I went to bed that ...

... The little bay was nice- good water for floating around in, occasionally arising to admire the scenery or to watch the cows ambling along the beach or out onto the rocky outcrop. A few busses and motorbike taxis later I was back down in South Goa ready to check out Colva beach (lonely planet made it sound not so appealing, but Bunty (Madan cafe owner) had recommended it, and he seemed to be consistently spot on- and yet again he was right.) The beach was a nice ...

... staying in the touristic Calgunte beach near the world famous Baga beach we had plenty of restaurants and dinning options to choose from. There were few american tourists spread out here and there but overall it was quite a quiet place because of the weather.

We rented a scooter and were able to explore further beaches and more forts. The scenery while driving in the scooter was quite amazing and fields ...
