Au Revoir
... then back to the hotel lobby where I was able to plug my iPad in and use their wifi. Which passed an hour or so til I thought it was time to eat again. Decided to buy one last baguette and eat it by the Eiffel Tower, contemplated a last ascension, thinking at the end of the day it wouldn't be too busy. I mean really, who would want to climb France's most famous landmark at sunset!! Of course the queue was miles long :D I instead inspected the hundreds of "Buddy Bears" ...

That was collected and lo and behold the whole journey was over in an hour and we landed in a deserted airport, picked up our baggage and taxied to our hotel. Paris Day One. I'm writing this blog entry from the cozy little living room in our Paris apartment. It's currently 10:52 pm Paris time and although I'm exhausted, I'm not tired enough to go to sleep.
