... with arm holes and being tangled like strait jackets, the coats kept us pretty warm, but it was a bit uncomfortable to hold the drinks after a while. ... what they had in buffet... lasagne! big lol having just come from Rome.

I actually still did go out wandering and had to use my trusty city map to get home cos I walked further than I thought. Its weird here cos all the street names look the same til you realise that the 'gaten' at the end means street so that you have to pay more attention to whats at the start :) Oh and I think bron means bridge. I strongly suspect that that will be the extent of what I learn of the language!

... that we saw were the Belfry Tower and for those who have seen the movie In Brugge will be familiar with!!, the Town Hall and the Burg Square and the Walplein square. After a walk around the city we were given some time on our own to wander around and we purchased a beautiful piece of lace. There were so many to choose from! Then our guide met us again and walked us down to the canal for a 30 minute cruise on the canal which showed us some other sights around the city. ...

We travelled from the cruise terminal by taxi today and I had a lovely ride in Sue's chair. We had lots more photos taken and we got a great deal of attention, I think it was because Sue is such a wonderful lady and everyone wanted her picture.

One photo I really like is the one taken outside of the Palace. After such a long day I was getting a little grubby so Sue let me have a sponge bath, mmm I loved that.
