When I came home from work, I realised that everyone in the house had thrown out all of my food from the fridge (presumably because it went off while I was away). This annoyed me. I purposely bought un ripe veggies so they would still be good when I got home. I planned for this. Not happy Jan.

I got a pleasant surprise tonight when Martyn finally called me and I got to chat to him for a bit. Turns out that he is now an Australian. Best day ever.

... complaints from me. Marco's Dad drove us to nearby Pains where we met Marco's cousin. I was beginning to this we might not make it. His Dad hit no less that 3 speed bumps at about 50km/h which caused us all to go flying into the roof, but we did make it eventually.

As soon as we got in the car, I put my head up against the window and called it a day.

I managed to sleep for about 2 hours of the 3 and a half hour trip. Not bad. When I woke up, ...

I made plans with Deborah again today to go to a festival at Praca da Estacao as part of Belo Horizonte's birthday celebrations. It didn't start till 5 so she came over in the morning and tried to brazilianise me, by teaching me how to make brigadeiro. I wasn't complaining, brigadeiro is the reason why Brazilians are so happy.
