We drove about 3 hours back to where we just were to see the Mitrione's when they returned from the Jersey shore. They are Mike's Godparents. What an incredibly fun couple they are. Fun, funny, and kind. We had a wonderful visit at their beautiful home and then went out for the best dinner! It was sad to leave, but hopefully we will be back to see them next year. We left from Connecticut and drove through New York (state not city), Mike REALLY didn't want to get anywhere NEAR the city after Boston, so we skirted around it, through New Jersey, and on to Pennsylvania.

... pushed it for a mile down the line at walking pace then brought it back again. There was nothing to see, the sides of the track were all overgrown with weeds, backed onto old industrial looking area of nothing in particular interest.
