... by a roomful of awesome and creative women, a dinner party, 2 Xmas parties and 2 New Year’s parties. The New Year’s Eve event ended with a fireworks display over the bridge, put on by the local fire chief who used confiscated fireworks. Not bad for a tiny town of 1000+. I also went to the hilarious Xmas Parade of Lights in Guerneville, worked 4 special events at the theater, and scoped out some local music venues over cocktails with new friends. That ...

... to blend in with surrounding landscape, there are many access points to the beach and a small town eight miles from where the Thornhill's house is.

We made a brief stop in Petaluma before winding our way up the coast. The last 80kms is very windy, we are so lucky to have kids that don't get affected by car sickness or it could have been a very slow difficult journey. We were really pleased to arrive and be greeted by Henry and Kathy.

Dave has been sanding and mudding the bedroom for the last 2 days, probably 3 more to go before he can paint. (Slow process but beautiful results) That is the last room to be painted, and I am really going to be happy when it is done! Our big project is to get the bathroom plumbed.

... guests as you want, there's a lot of cheering abs upaettibgky its 3 hours long. Spent most of the time just sitting near the lake with her friends Cameron and Reid. It was alright. After that headed off to Safeway for Lindsay to buy our beer then off to Marissa's. Details are about hazy really.
