... fingers crossed. Meanwhile, all systems are go here, including the washing machine and dishwasher. It is wonderful to be able to cook in a real kitchen now. I have been “cooking” in a microwave in the trailer for 5 years, and the oven at Dave’s house doesn’t work, so I am looking forward to a bit of baking this winter.

... roam freely. There were cows right next to the road, and one of them walked across the road in front of the person directly behind us. It was interesting to say the least.

... At one point one of them jumped completely out of the water then disappeared again. It was great fun watching them and everything else going on out there.

... Inn. I quote "the best food and wine I have ever
eaten"- Kelsey Druce. Voted the greenest restaurant in the entire San Francisco
Bay area…and we found it by accident. Sonoma County seemed like a right up your
alley kind of place to be, as ma would say. On our way to Redwood National Park
in search for beautiful Sequoias and Redwoods-- loving longhair and loving

... featured a hilarious Elvis impersonator and was followed by a trip down to the beach to await the boat parade and water carnival.

I have mentioned before that my neighborhood is filled with various and sundry local characters. Many of which I have come to love dearly. The stroll down to the river was also quite an experience in meeting local color.
