Panorama -July 24, 2015 RIDGE - Today was an awesome day with an awesome friend. Started everything off with an amazing breakfast and a beautiful morning. Me and Jacob then headed off for an archery event for the afternoon. We were lucky enough to be the only two guys shooting! So we had non stop bow action with the help of a really fun and chill instructor. He allowed us to put the targets insanely far away, farther then the instructor had ever gone before. I then had ...

Things sure are a long way apart from anywhere. One can truly see forever up here. I thought Montana went on forever, Alberta is even more so. It's beautiful, wet, cool, and smoky here. Today is our last day and we kept it low key,
Went for a nice picnic on the Kootenay river within the Kootenay National Forrest. It was a beautiful day --- sunny and hot, so this is the perfect place to go.

As we drove to the park, we passed 2 big horn sheep in the middle of main street and as we entered the park, there were two deer in the roadway. The picnic area we were going to ...

... views of the lake. However, all along these trails there are nothing but 'bear warning' signs. Honestly, this has to be a Top 5 and a must see. The pictures are beautiful, but they don't do it justice..........you have to see it to believe it.

We took the same route back to Radium Hot Springs and passed through Moraine Lake which is beautiful, just not as beautiful as Lake Louise. Stopped also at a local visitor center/gift shop to ...
