Today we left Oliva and are heading for Granada. But rather than a 5 hour drive we thought we 'd stop off at Aguilas on the way. It is recommended in the "Rough Guide " as one of the best beaches in Spain. Well when we arrived it was raining . It apparently has 320 days of sunshine a year here but today and apparently tomorrow it is set for rain and cool at 18-20 . San Pedro Bay
What a smashing time we had at Almerimar. We met some fellow yachties and made friends with them all to one degree or other. Almerimar was the perfect spot to stay for a while and some of our new friends were over-wintering there. We walked, did a quiz, met up at the pub, had meals or nibbles on other yachts. So a good time there for me to satisfy my social needs and time for Steve to make some chandlery ...

... Negras zu gehen, das Dorf des Campings. Dort haben wir ein, zwei Bierchen getrunken in einer Bar direkt am Strand. Außerdem haben wir zwei Brasilianer getroffen, die auch im Camping übernachteten und uns schon vom Strand kannten.
