    ... many bumpy roads we were do pleased to get there. After going through customs we were pleased to be sitting on the ferry at 9am. We left at 9.30 and had a 50 minute journey to Kos. The journey was comfortable as we arrived a number of huge Gulets left packed with people off to sail around the island.     Another late wake up, another buffet breakfast and then we caught the regular shuttle bus across to the Gand Yazici's sister hotel on Torba beach. It was a lovely spot, but the area for us to hang out was on a wooden pier at the end of the water and it was nowhere as lovely as our hotel.     ... Charley has chosen to be in a single bed in the other part of our room. Everyone is happy and (predictably) the kids's room is already a bomb site.     ... wind picked up. The meltimi had returned, Saturday eve the thunder and lightening returned and it caused the electricity to go, thankfully we knew where the torch and candles were.
