... I wanted to keep tomorrow's drive to Florida less than a full-day's drive, so we continued onward. Finally, we had dinner around 8:30PM at Chick-Fil-A (Bradley's choice) and decided to check into a Country Inn & Suites just off the highway. Nice hotel, been open only about one month.

As it stands, it looks like we've got about a 5 1/2 hours of drive time until we're in Clearwater--so we should arrive at Uncle Bob's around 3:00-4:00PM...

So he got to sit and bake in the sun until we got back. After winding around some lovely lakes in Northwest Alabama I rolled in to Huntsville AL to visit Kyle and meet Pete.

So I'm leaving Athens in two days and I can't wait. The beginning of the trip is up in the air as we can't decide when to leave and where to stop first. The idle first stop in the U. S. They also seem to be the worst drivers around, with almost every car I passed having some kind of dent or smash on it (no, I wasn't driving in Mobile!)
