We decided to go to a water park today, prices were about 1/2 of what they were in Destin. Of course the kids have been wanting to go ever since they saw the one in Destin. Heat index 109. Nice. Good day to be at a water park. Ate at sonic, very un-original but that was the best we could do after being in the sun and keeping track of our kids at a packed water park for 4 hours. ... the red light incident but very thankful it is all better now. Truck: on day 11, truck started and then immediately quit. Electronic failure? Ricks electronic expertise, aka he wiggles the Jilio, got the truck back. Thankful we still have a truck. Family: just humbly thankful to be able to spend time, just the four of us and enjoy each other's company. And hopefully help our kids focus on what's important. Music. Thankful ...

Cleaning. It's both harder and easier to clean. Harder because you notice all the yuck. Easier because it's so much smaller. Black countertops. NEVER get them. EVER. Impossible to keep clean. Especially in the bathroom with white tooth paste and kids. Impossible. Tools. Harder because you have none, easier because you figure out how to make do. Meals. Beanie weenies are ok at home but 5 star meal camping, especially on day 25 ...
