There was an earthquake in Nepal the other night. Felt it here but no damage, hoping the aftershocks will be over before we get there.
Still exploring Llasa, been to the Sera Monastery & Potala Palace ( used to be the Dalai Lama's home) Tomorrow off to Nam-Tso Lake. Took a Tibetan cooking class.
Next we spend a week driving across the Tibetan plateau to Everst Base Camp.

Cheers Allan

I felt a little sorry for the Asian (Korean?) girls because the waitress was being a bit harsh and the Chinese woman was just being rude about the whole thing, but I took it as a lesson about assuming and how it can get you into varying degrees of trouble.

Finally, my ...
