... we went to the local store to buy some wine to enjoy in the town square. We walked into town and discovered that they had music in the town square. There were two women playing , one on the piano and on on the violet. We enjoyed the music then went for a late bite to eat. We found a pizza place. The pizza was so tasty. The next day, we rode bikes around the city. We found out that Ravenna is know for its mosaics. So we rode out bikes to check out some mosaics in the old ...
... in the shape of an egg. We had no,idea what was on a table beside the kettle, an electric rather than a period kettle thankfully. It holds 4 cans of drink!
Showers and washing completed we had a well earned rest. We again decided not to eat on our ride so we were a little peckish. Being in the old town, close to cafes and walkways as well as numerous old buildings, we ventured off in search of sustenance. We found a little bakery ...

The day started really well with a sleep in til nearly breakfast o'clock at 7am. We were given a warm welcome by the staff and yes it was warm. The Euro style breakfast went down well with very nice coffee - had to have a second to confirm that it was very nice coffee and some sweet breads - well, cakes really.
We had a chat to a husband and wife from Geelong. They stay at the hotel every year as they visit ...
