    ... Ramen restaurant (basically spicy noodles and an egg), where you sit in your own booth, right your order on a slip of paper, and pass it through a slit in the wall in front on you. You then get passed your meal back through the slit by a pair of disembodied hands- I guess the Japanese are shy!

    We then walked all over Hong Kong Island at night, and eventually found a live music bar. By around 11ish, my jet-lag caught up ...

    We left Hong Kong in cool damp weather, check-in was straight forward and although there was a short line the crew was ready with champagne and appetizers. Our suite is great, plenty of space for storage and nice sitting area, glad for our tiny balcony but so far it has been too cold to enjoy.     ... Ed are ready to explain, show and tutor in their specialty.. creating 3 D royal icing cakes. My fellow students are from Singapore & Macau.. a small group of keen, eager disciples .. what a day for us.. time goes by quickly and soon enough it is "home" time..     After two months travels and living out of trains/dorms/hotels, Hong Kong brought us into the welcome refuge of a few of our friends.
