... They make it look so easy! One of the ladies making the designs didn't look older than me, but she was 37. She had been working there for 17 years! That is why they are so good at what they do.
After lunch, we headed out back into the pouring rain to see the Yixing 7th Annual Ceramics Art and Culture Festival show, which displayed many Yixing traditional teapots, celadon work, and sculptural pieces. The place was massive! ...

We checked into our hotel around 4:30pm and took 2 hours to chill. We were all a bit fried from the drive and all the walking. Some people were sick today, feeling a bit under the weather with all the activity. I know Trudy was feverish and a couple others were uneasy in the tummy. I was glad to be past that.

One of the teachers at school arranged for our students to give us a tour of the nearby sites. The students arrived at my hotel at 11 am. ... so I was going to miss school and I would have to wait all day in Nanjing for my travel conpanion to arrive. Still it wasn't that big a deal because I wanted to see more of Nanjing and we had to go to Nanjing anyway to catch the train to Beijing.
