... They make it look so easy! One of the ladies making the designs didn't look older than me, but she was 37. She had been working there for 17 years! That is why they are so good at what they do.

Today we left early in the morning for Yixing (ee-shing) which was about a 3 hour drive. The main highway we rode was very pretty, with tidily trimmed shrubs in the median. Along the roadside for the majority of the drive there were rice fields, small houses and villages, and fish, shrimp, oyster, crab, and pearl farms. One of the teachers at school arranged for our students to give us a tour of the nearby sites. The students arrived at my hotel at 11 am. The father of one of the students was our driver and we went to one of the local caves. Across the street from the caves we went and had lunch. The food for the most part was pretty good.

So I rushed to the bus Friday morning and made it to Beijing by 10 am. After going to the police station with someone from Ameson, I was free for the rest of the day.
